Arabia Steamboat Museum
The Arabia Steamboat Museum is known for its history, but it’s also known for offering fun for everyone. Unlike most historic museums, it’s not boring. They put a lot of time and effort into making sure the Arabia Steamboat Museum would be enjoyed by people of all ages. For example, kids might have an opportunity to meet treasure hunters and/or lab technicians. The latter might sound boring, but it actually refers to people who clean and restore the museum. They know more about the exhibits than anyone, including the tour guides. However, that’s not intended to be a knock on the tour guides. The tour guides here are often quirky, knowledgeable and a lot of fun to be around. Part of their job is to be entertaining, not just informative. For more entertainment, there is a movie to watch about the steamboat era. Whether you watch the movie about the steamboat era or not, after visiting this museum, you will have a greater appreciation for the people who made steamboats their lifelong passion.

National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial

Other impressive features here include The Western Front, The Walk of Honor and The Glass Bridge.
